I've been reading some fine translations of the 12-13th century Persian poet, Attar, by Sholeh Wolpe in "The Invisible Sun". After "Eating God", the anthology of Bhakti poetry I edited ten years ago, I felt I could spend the rest of my life wandering the world and talking about these extraordinary poems and poets.
